FORT WAYNE PAL BOXING
THE LEGACY
Over 30 years ago, the Fort Wayne PAL Boxing Team, under the leadership of Ray Blauvelt Sr, Lester Blauvelt, and Jeff Blauvelt, took home Indiana State Championships in 1990, 1991, 1992, and 1993.
Their deep understanding of training, technique, and style created a team that dominated the state for nearly half a decade.
Now, 30 years after the program was disbanded, the legacy continues with head coach, Sam Gray. Trained by the Blauvelts, Coach Gray is a two-time Toledo Golden Gloves champion, two-time Indiana Silver Gloves champion, and a two-time Indiana Junior Olympics champion.
